(I) Borrowing Facility

The students, research scholars, staff and faculty members of the University can avail the central library facilities.

First step is to register with the central library as a member by filling the membership form available at the help desk (along with a passport size photograph).

Registered members are privileged to access e-resources within campus and also outside the campus anytime anywhere.

(III) Library Membership

 

DELNET-Developing Library Network

 

DELNET is a major resource sharing library Network in India connecting more than 7700 institutions in 33 states in India and few other countries comprising of Universities, Colleges, R&D organisations, medical hospitals, etc. DELNET maintains a union catalogue of periodicals, which contains full holdings data of the libraries. At present, the database contains 20,235 records.

National Digital Library of India (NDLI)


The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general leaners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for ten most widely used Indian languages. It is built to support all academic levels, including researchers and lifelong learners, in all disciplines.

 

Shodhganga

The Shodhganga@INFLIBNET Centre provides a platform for research students to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access.

 

E-Shodhsindhu (INFLIBNET)
E-shodhSindhu is consortia for Higher Education E-Resources is to provide access to qualitative electronic resources including full-text, bibliographic and factual databases to academic institutions at a lower rate of subscription.

 

(IV) IT Facilities

 

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)

It is an online catalogue of Central Library holdings (Books, e-Books, Journals, Magazines and other resources). Users not only can search their resources through OPAC but also renew books, reserve books, create virtual shelves for their readings and suggest book purchases for the Central Library.

 

Photocopying/Printing Facility

The photocopying and printing facilities are available to all users on nominal payment. Users may contact at Circulation Desk for availing the photocopying and printing facilities from 10 AM to 4 PM.

 

Wi-Fi Internet Facility

The Central Library is completely linked with high speed College Network and Wi-Fi Internet facility. Users may use their laptop and smart phones for accessing the resources and services provided by Central Library. Users may use computers available inside the Central Library for accessing various resources including online catalogue from our collection and e-resources.
